Things I built for real needs

Sites, apps, and tools that started with a problem at home or in the community. Each one is something you can open or ask about today.

Anatomy Forge

Interactive anatomy, physiology, and hardware renders with study notes. Built for people who learn by taking things apart, not by memorizing slides.

Sixteen studies sit behind a static gallery with search and system filters. Light and dark versions, hardened security headers, served through Cloudflare.

A few of the 16 studies

  • ECG / EKG taken apart
  • Stroke and emergency CT
  • Inside an SSD
  • Ventilator and respiratory therapy
  • Cardiac arrest
  • Anatomy of the MCAT

Eastside Forge

A community portfolio and résumé initiative for high school and community college students. East LA welcome. Helps students turn real experience into a clear portfolio and résumé, especially when career guidance and design tools are hard to reach.

Students own their work. Seat requests opened November 3, 2026. Privacy-first by design: application data is deleted 90 days after a decision, bot protection is on, and the contact form does not store messages.

  • Who it's for: students building a first real portfolio
  • What I built: the site, seat request flow, and privacy defaults
  • What you can use today: browse the site and request a seat

Smaller projects, still useful

Built, maintained, or self-hosted. Each one answers who it's for and what you can see today.

BuiltEastside Forge apps

Licea Backup Workspace

For Casa Licea. A branded web UI for Kopia backups (fork of kopia/htmlui) so backup jobs are easier to run and check without living in a terminal.

Mac Changes

For our Macs at home. A local timeline of what changed on a Mac, built on osquery. Useful when something breaks and you need a clear “what moved.”

Self-hosted

Casa Licea homelab

For the family. The two-node lab that hosts media, notes, backups, and the tools we share. Step inside for how it runs and how we recover when something fails.

MaintainedSelf-hosted

ChimeDeck

For Casa Licea and Licea Enterprises. A self-hosted Kanban board we deploy and keep current so work stays on our own servers.

Papermark fork

For sharing documents without handing them to a random cloud. Hardened fork sitting behind Cloudflare Access so only people we allow can open it.

Built

This site

For anyone curious about the workshop. Forked from a website clone template, rebuilt in Next.js as Dark Labs 9 with the two halves: micro systems, and network and operational security.
